Our history
SJV Maurel Frères is a wine and spirits distribution company founded by brothers Jules and Valentin Maurel.
Their shared passion for the world of wine is in their DNA. They represent the ninth generation of a family of winegrowers, whose origins date back to 1802, when they purchased Château Astros, an estate located in the heart of Provence. In 2025 the Maurel Brothers, acquired Domaine Saint Jean de Villecroze in Provence and merged the new winery with their existing distribution activities in Europe and Asia through Vines and Terroirs Ltd.
SJV Maurel Freres is now a Wine Maker and Distributor with strong roots in Provence and strong international influence.
